12N is a small office operating within a larger network. With Fulco Treffers at its centre, the network is supplemented by members of all disciplines and professions - planners, researchers, project managers and more.

The 12N network is built up on long-lasting ties with several offices, including Linssen & Van Asseldonk (residential housing / mass housing, participatory planning), Bestwerk (cartography / creative design), Frans Werter  (process/project management) and Arie van Rangelrooy (architecture).

The name 12N combines time (12 as clock-indicator), and orientation (‘N’). The North arrow stands for drawings and the traditional urban form of presentation. The clock stands for the ever-present time factor and our constant aim to better use this factor as an optimal tool in urban planning.
