In 2009, 12N took a break from urban planning for some architecture and designed Fulco Treffers’ atelier – an old garage in the centre of Eindhoven converted to a work/living space with plenty of leftover space for unplanned functions and activities.
In spite of the project’s architectural scale, it can be reviewed as an example of small-scale urban development, a particular reuse initiative that won the interest and support of the neighborhood and municipality.
